I have two hard drives in my system and I need to have the exact data on both of them. That way if one crashes, we can switch it to the second hard drive, and go again. Is there any way to do this without purchasing software? I am running Windows 2000 Professional.

I would appreciate any help.
Thanks.

You need to set up a Raid 1 array. If your MOBO supports Raid 1 your all set. If not you can purchase a Raid controller.

Freestone, I tried to upgrade to dynamic, but afterwards I wasn't able to mirror. The option was grayed out. Am I missing something?

Thanks so much for your help!
