Hi,
just checking out EPO for a possible client, what is the exact purpose of the mirror site? does it download the DATS automatically for you or do you have to download them yourself

virusscan can mirror even without epo, yes it downloads the dats automatically FatesWebb

if you do what I suggested it is not my fault...

you will have to of installed mirror option in virusscan, or rerun the setup and add that component. then you will have a mirror task in the virusscan console. you can configure that to save the dat files to the disk. you can share that folder out, and use the autoupdate of virusscan to get the files from the UNC path.

EPO is great software, and if you have a lot of nodes it is something you will want to get for many other reasons. but if you just want to mirror, virusscan can do it...
