mirror sata drives

I have a 2k server box sp4 all updates and patches running
dual 933 intels with a gig of ram and would like thoughts on mirroring the drive.

1. boot drive 10 gig eide setup on main controller as primary and secondary is the cd drive

2. installed a maxtor sata controller with two 120gb drives setup to mirror the main boot drive.

question I believe all i need to do is modify the boot.ini file on the emergency repair disk as follows

if i'm not missing the boat here all i need to do is change
the statement regarding (rdiskX)

break the mirror and reestablish.
