Hey Team,

I have 2 webservers (both Redhat) and want to make sure the content is exactly the same on each one. What I'd like to do is have a 'master' webserver and have all it's content replicated to the 'slave' webserver.

What's the best way to do this??

hi,

u can use rsync from rsync.samba.org . you can set cronjob to sync between each other.

rsync is probably your best option but you could also play with wget setting the flag to only update files that have changed (save a bit of bandwidth?)

Unless you have a secure build, You probably have wget on one of your servers allready?).

Good Luck
Laurie.

Yeah I went with rsync using ssh... very cool! Thanks guys!
