Hi,
I have Dell poweredge 1750 with mirror to replace my old server.
I'm going to restore the software, database, IIS from the old server.
Before I'm restoring, I'll pull the second hard drive and if the restore run successfully, I'm going to put back the second HD.
If the restore fail, I'm going to shutdown the server, pull the first HD and put back the second hard drive. Boot with second HD and then put back the first HD. Is it possible? How does array manager know which HD has to overwrite to?
Do I need to turn off the first HD on the array manager before I put back in?
Thanks,
Winoto
