mirror copies of the fat don't match , volume sys not mounted -error 1

Hi,
One of the servers gave the error message :

the mirror copies of the fat don't match
volume sys not mounted

I am trying to find out as much as possible about this. I believe the server is running netware 4.
most research I've done says to use vrepair ( I am almost sure my supervisor tried that allready and was unsuccessful-I'll see monday)
The other advice is to delete partition and recreate the volume -this seems drastic.


any more advice ?

Vrepair shoud fix this problem. If it finds errors and fixes them, then close vrepair and run it again until it it runs without finding any errors. I have had this message before on a drive and it has fixed it. Also, make sure you have all the patches for your version of NW.
