Hello fellow techs,
I have a customer who has an S8500A server. I think we can migrate them to a S8500C server without any problems.. Can I?
If so is there anything I must lookout for? Please let me know...
Thanks in advance

You cannot load cm2 on a s8500C server. Minimum is cm3.1

Cool Thanks... I have a CM 3.1.2.
Thanks again AvayaTier3!!

Do not try to do "os" restore from s8500A to s8500C
Configure the server manually.

You can restore "security" and "xln" that were backups from s8500A.

This is due to a couple of things. The ethernet port config and the s8500C has a SAMP. A dual NIC is an option on s8500C.
