Hey guys,

Microsoft has released some new web controls, and they all look pretty good! They include:
TreeView (xml-like tree tool)
Toolbar (like the windows version)
TabControl (FINALLY!)
MultiPage

If you're running VS.NET and the candidate release, go here:

If you're using the Beta2 stuff, go here:

I've been using hte TreeView quite extensively, and I may write my first FAQ on it this weekend, but in the meantime if you have any questions about it let me know!
:)

Jack,

I go to the URL you provide, and it brought me to MSDN WebControls Version 1.0, but nothing I can download.

Does this is only to MSDN subscriber?

Thanks!

Theresa

Heh, Microsoft should really put an expiry date on how long their links will stay active.

If you click on the link to the Beta2 version, you'll actually go to the vs.net version (sigh...msdn, so helpful sometimes, so confusing others....)

Let me know if you run into any other probs
:)

As an additional note to this thread I would mention that another developer handled the installation on our server and had some minor problems (but nothing major). Since then I have had the opportunity to use the multipage tool. It is really quite nice, the only detriment is that in your design view nothing will look right after you have moved it into the page views (at least in my experience you will only see the controls on the first page and none of the surrounding html etc), but that is a small price to pay for a truly nifty tool.
