MIRAN III - External Music stops working

We have some sites with MIRAN III installed in an Option 11C, release 25.40B. External music-source is connected to the front of the MIRAN-card providing music to callers.

For some reasons, the music stops working. Need to disu/enlu the music-unit on the MIRAN-card. Then it's working fine for a couple of days...and stops working again.

Any idea?

I have the exact same problem...although I was resetting my miran to get it working again...will try the disu/enlu next time

Check the grounding levels for all the equipmet connected to the Meridian..

I have found some information for this problem:


Title:
Caller hears silence when accessing music on hold on Miran III card

Symptoms:
Caller hears silence when accessing music on hold on Miran III card. Miran music on hold not working. External music randomly locks up. DISU/ENLU card music TN, and music performance recovers.

Cause:
Internal error in Miran 3 application.

Fix:
Workaround: Install new loadware 3.0M.05.

I found the same info on PRIMUS. Anyone know how to update the loadware on a MIRAN III. I have the files but, have never done it.
