MIRAN Card Static

PBXN posted a problem in November 2005 but the resolution was never posted. Over the past few years, there have been several threads on this theme, but nobody seems to have a definitive answer. I have a similar issue on a customer's Option 81C, and they've been reseating the card every few weeks for some years now. PBXN, did you ever get it resolved? Has anyone?

 
The "reset" button (pin hole) on the card is just as easy. It occurred every 6 months or so for me.

I suspect the answer is upgrade to something newer.

When we get static we just reset the card as well. But we have older miran cards on Succession systems. They don't like you to do that, but they work.
 
The Card was replaced last January with an NTVQ01AA R18. I guess we'll have to try an AB card and see if it clears up.
