Miran 2 And Voice Assignments

I have a Miran 2 that is not working as expected.

The issue is that I have announcements, and can not administer them via TUI only. I can listen to the channels, but can neither delete the current assignment, nor add and announcement to a vacant channel.

The general response is "there are no available announcements".

The calendar function via serial is OK, and I have done my mods there, however TUI should work as well.

There was a mention of this in approx 2007, but so far I have not gotten a definitive answer as to why the TUI is not working as expected.

Any ideas ????

Have you checked that the keycodes for your Miran are present and that you have the correct number of channels available.

I've known the keycode file to go missing or be corrupted. You can re enter them back in again. Also check your date and time.

Keycodes and channels are OK.

Time and date were way out, but now ok..... This would not make any difference though as there is no synchronisation, and no need to change messages.

Another interesting symptom: Chve set the messages and saved them via calender function.

I rebooted the miran, and behold it has come back with the original message assignments.

I am still looking into it.

What password are you logging in with?

Both admin and distributor passwords.

Issue is the same for both.
