Minuet ACD Announcements

We are experiencing a strange problem with our ACD, the voice announcements (prompts) do not play when a caller is put into the queue and the queue does not time out. Even though the ACD is configured to transfer to a DN after 180 seconds but the caller is left into the queue forever. Also when I try to record new accouncement (F909) and select a proper announcement ID (eg. 2) and hit OK, the ACD kicks me out and TERMINATE is displayed. I cannot listen to the accouncements either.

I took the system back to my vendor, when he connected it to his KSU the annoucments could be played/recorded. I believe there is some configuration problem in my KSU or a wiring issue. Also I think the announcement and the queue timeout issues are somehow related.

I would appreciate any help in this regards!

We have a Minuet ACD w/ 8 ports connected to KSU 8x24.

Did your vendor attach your NAM(?) to his 8x24 or to a MICS machine? Have you posted this ? to the Cintech site that makes the Minuet software? You may have software issues as well as system compatibility issues.
