Mintronix hardware question

We recently adopted a site that has Mintronix MP5000 all in one terminals (15'LCDs) and this hardware is about a year old and we have had two go down due to cmos errors. Take the cmos battery out and put it back in and all is well. But what is messed up is when we tell a customer to reboot one over the phone and it doesn't come back on. It has only happened twice within a month of each other. Is anyone else using this hardware and have feedback on this particluar issue. Hopefully it was just a fluke.

Bo, one of our resellers has also had this problem. See below:

We have had 2 MP5000 units at the same location go down with CMOS errors in the last 90 days. I have never had to replace the battery on any mother board on any other computer. These have only been installed about 8 months, so this problem strikes me as odd. Has anyone else had this problem?
