Minolta Magicolor 2300DL ... line on copy ...

I have a Minolta Magicolor 2300DL that is giving me a vertical line on the copies I print.

I cleaned off all the rollers I could find and gave it a good clean air blast.

That worked for about a hundred copies then it started again.

What else can I do?

I too have a Magicolour 2430DL and have had this problem in the past.

When you mention wiping the rollers, did you see if there's any line on the drum itself which could be passing on to the rollers ?

Anther area to check for marks/dirt is a tiny slim rectangular mirrorized area underneath the drum (at least on my 2430DL) - if this gets dirty/dusty it will affect print quality. I'd wipe it gently with a lint-free cloth and see how you go.

I guess your printer must be out of warranty ?
