Could anyone tell me what minimum widow records property is all about.Could u explain with a small example

Hi,
By default this is 0.
When it is 0 it means that the report will try to display as many records as possible in a single page.

If you set it to say 2 then no more than 2 records will be displayed for that page.Susequent records will be spooled to next page.

The above explanations are about Maximun Records per Page property relevant for repeating frames. The Minimum Window Records is quite different property relevant for multi-line fields or labels. If report can not display in the first page at least as many lines of the object as specified in this property, the entire object will start printing on the next page. For example, if you have a paragraph of text displayed by a field, and you are setting this property to 2, this will prevent starting printing the paragraph on the current page if only the first line fits there. In this case the paragraph will start on the following page.
