Hi,
which is the minimun bandwith to enable voice over ip between two pix?
I need a good quality..

thanks

Depends on your codec, but as an absolute min start at 12k bps for G723AR8. It also depends on the encapsulation method, a 5.3Kbps G.723.1 call over Ethernet would use 7.4k with Voice activated Detection (VAD) and 14.8 without, quite a difference.

As a guide a standard PSTN call (UK) is 64k but over Ethernet would use 85K without VAD, 43k with it enabled.

Hope that helps.

Andy
