Minimizing closes web sites & files. Whassup?! 1

When I try to minimize a web site or a file, they close. I might as well have just "X"ed it. It also gets rid of all open items when I click on the "Show Desktop" button. Anyone know how I can correct this?

I started the computer using one added utility at a time and found the culprit to be the Surf-In-Peace pop-up blocking software! Excellent pop-up blocker, but I had programmed a size into it that the diminished items pretty much matched, and it zapped them. I removed the dimensions from the utility, and everything works properly now! PTL!
