I would like to place a reduced page of my manuscript in the introduction, using call-out boxes around it to explain the features of the pages.

I cannot get a quality reduced page. I have scanned pages and saved as pdf, but there is no PM filter for pdf files.

I have saved as jpg, tiff and pict files, which will load but are too fuzzy to read.

Is there a way to get good-quality reduced pages into PM?

These are all Adobe products, so I think it should be easy.

Thank you

Lien: It´s definitely not possible to show thumbnails for text.
You can use only images. Text requires a minimum of pixels
per character for readability. Please give further informations
about your intentions. ---Gernot

Hi,

if you make a ps or an eps of the page that you wan't to use as a reduced page in your introduction you can place this file afterwards in your lay-out.

Thanks, Grillhouse!

I went through the print box to options, chose EPS, and printed the page to the disk as an EPS file.

I was then able to place the file in the regular manner and scaled it down. Quality is perfect.

Presto!
