MSO001 Maintain Systems Control file, changed Maximum Login Attempts to 5. Proceeded to the MSM001B Tab System Mode/Security --- Advanced User Security field is protected. Does anyone know how to unprotect this field?

Defaults to 'N' must be changed to 'Y'.

The solution was to sign on with a password that did not use any special characters. If you sign on with a password of special characters the field is protected.
Not sure why this was the answer from MINCOM tech support.
