If you're talking of errors of the type "general protection fault" or "Asia2" they are in general caused by database corruption of the Paradox databases used by SmartGui for record locking and pop-up data. We have experienced them:
-during normal activity: apparently it is a known fact that it is prone to corruption when you have more than 20 concurrent users
- due to incorrect installation (depending on the type of installation: LAN or client)
- while uploading pop-up data and users have a pop-up opened
Usually after such an error, the user cannot restart SmartGui unless the client computer is be re-booted.
To fix the problem, the Paradox database files need to be re-created.
These are not MIMS problems but SmartGui problems.
