MIMS Explorer Forgets Connection - RED X

We recently applied a front-end patch for MIMS explorer which involved a lot of registry updates. Since this update we are having a problem with users who exit MIMS programs using the 'Windows' end task button on the top right corner of the window. If a user has multiple windows open and closes some of them with the 'X' at the top-right, MIMS fails to connect when the user tries to open another window from the MIMS Explorer. They get a MIMS logon screen which fails to connect, then a new logon window.

This does not happen if the user uses the 'RED "X"' on the MIMS screen to exit the application.

Has any one else seen this?

Is this a new problem ? We are running 4.3.1.1 and it have been a problem since day 1. If you find a solution we would love to hear about it? Our advise from Mincom was learn to live with it.

It is a new problem. This didn't happen prior to the upgrade. Just out of curiosity, which version of the middleware are you running? We did a middleware upgrade as a part of this change.
