MIME Types - Livelink 9.7.0 1

Livelink 9.7.0 is recognizing the following extensions as .zip files. After uploading these sort of files, to download they are already zipped. Is this because a MIME type has not been setup within IIS?

.xltm (excel 07 macro)
.dotx (word 07 template)
.potx (powerpoint 07 template)
.potm (powerpoint 07 macro)

I don't know if I made myself clear or not, but basically when you goto download an .xltm for example, it downloads as a .zip and the contents of the .zip are a mess. It is also give a .zip icon rather than the appropriate related office suite icon.

sknoll, i believe these extensions must be set up in the mime.types file under your ot home/config. You must list the extension and the associated octet-stream. It is better explained in this article.

so this has nothing to do with IIS?

added the following to mime.types located in config directory:

application/vnd.ms-excel.template.macroEnabled.12 xltm
application/vnd.ms-powerpoint.template.macroEnabled.12 potm
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.template potx
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.template dotx
