MIME encoded

Hi. I have a problem that has been bugging one of my coworkers. They are part of a mailing list that sends their messages MIME-encoded. For some reason, either Outlook or Exchange doesn't like the MIME encoding and only displays a bunch of gobbledegoop and only a small part of the message. MIME is is not being blocked at the Outlook level. Does anyone know what I need to change to let these messages get though unchanged?

Can you post the "gobbledegoop"? Generally there's a problem in the way it was encoded. The one that comes to mind is certain versions of Groupwise when HTML messages are enabled. Groupmangler doesn't add the required MIME 1.0 header which results in garbled messages.
