Milap error 4

I have a 200EL LW19 with these strange log entries

Bay 9 buffer nearing capacity

Milap error 4

It is a 3 cabinet EL in a hotel.

I have the DSCONS hooked up to call accounting and as soon as that begins talkg, the system generates MILAP erro 4 logs and the Bay 9 buffer log entry.

Any ideas?

Check to make sure you have COS option SMDR overwrite buffer enabled in your trunks COS.

The buffer is only about 20 records long so is pretty useless.

My guess is that the collection of records can't keep up with production at times or your rs232 flow control is wonky.

will try smdr overwite buffer option 702. thank you.

my dscons is set for 300baud, n81, flow control is xon/xoff

i always go slow speed for the dscons. the pms ds1103 is set for 1200 n81.


these milap errors usually show up around 7-8am which could coincide with wakeup reports coming in. hmm.

did not make a difference, MILAP ERROR 4 this morning at 7:30 and Bay 9 buffer nearing capacity at 7:30am

could it be the actual console?
