I'm just about to finish the fourth edition of this book. I was planning to take the A+ exams in the next few months. However, while browsing this forum recently I realized that there was also a fifth edition of the All-in-one. Is there much in the fifth edition that I may have missed out on in the fourth edition? Should I postpone taking my tests to continue studying more? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

sixstrings4,

I have them both, just not side-by-side for comparison. Is the 4th edition the 2000 edition? If so, you'll want to brush up on some of the new material, such as P4 cache sizes, SATA, and FDDI.

When I bought the 5th edition (around May or so), I think I ended up paying ~$30. Well worth it to pass the exams the first time around.
