With all of Microsofts crazy rules concerning there certfications, I need a little explantion on a few things before I begin to tackle them:

1.) I currently have my A+ and N+ certs, and saw on the MS page, that those actually count toward there certs, but how many tests is that equivalent to? (i.e. 2certs=1 test or 2certs=2 tests?)

2.) I know that by passing one test you become a MCP, but how do you get the "+I" that I have seen alot on people MCP certs?

slycer,

1. The A+ and Network+ together satisfy the elective requirement for MCSA, which could also be satisfied with one Microsoft exam.
2. The +I specialization was available to MCSA's and MCSE's on Windows 2000 Server. This has been discontinued, but I can't find a direct link to the info.

Here is the link to the MCSE+i The requirments are still up there, but almost all the tests are no longer available, but you can see what the requirements used to be.

Here is the link to all the old certs
