Hello,
I have a old redhat 9 server that runs mail and web services. What I would like to do is move those imap accounts and web over to a new server running either red hat 9 or somthing like centos 4. What do you recommend as far as moveing the data? I know the web is easy but the imap data and user accounts im not sure about. I only have about 15 users so remaking the accounts will not be too much of a pain.
note: using red hat 9 imapd with sendmail

Thanks
Will

in order to move your user accounts, you can modify the /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow files using the original one (just add the new users!) and create the correct home directories.

to move mails you should copy the content of /var/spool/mail (except if you have another configuration).
