What would happen to the user profiles on a GroupWise system if I run Migration Wizard to migrate the server to a new computer? Would the profiles move along with the NDS to the new computer?

If you run the migration wizard, it should copy all of the NDS structure over. You'll also want to copy over the groupwise domain directory and then reinstall groupwise on the new server. Should be pretty seamless and users should notice nothing different if done correctly.

the migration wizard will take it no probs

only thing you need to do is - install the grpwise agents on new server - you could move them from sys:mig but you need to work out what they are

so i do this before mig - install you mig server - run the agent install from your software dir and install to sys:system - when it asks for domain and postoffice locations just ok it with them blank - it will say it will not create the startup file - so ok. now thats the nlm's on - copy the .poa and the .mta and the grpwise.ncf from the sys:system on current to sys:system on migration box and thats it

the migration will then copy the directories across and thats it
