Migration help

I have a e5.5 on 2k in an ad enviroment im trying to
migrate to a seperate win2k doamin exch2k (same site as
5.5 diff domain) enviroment. Im having issues because ad
side the users are not mail enabled although an e5.5 is
associated with the ad user account. I have moved users
between domains/forests but on the oppisite end I do not
have the move mailbox function. I think I have 2 options
to in place upgrade the existing 5.5 install, then move
users into the new domain, and finally move them onto the
new exchange 2k server (insame site as 5.5) or somehow
associate the user account in ad with the 5.5 account...I
think this may be able to be done with adsi edit but
havent been able to locate any information on this
specific issue. Any help would be appreciated.

do you see both Exchange servers in Exchange Administrator on both servers? I wonder if you really have joined the site correctly. If you did, you should be able to move mailbox.

I mucked up the adc, ldap on the e 5.5 box was set to use 376 instead of 389. now that I fixed this I can bring over users and they are mail enabled. Thank you for your reply.
