Wetting my feet here on Partners - Will be moving a Partner II to a PartnerACS 7. There didn't appear to be any reports available to dump the data base (in PartnerII). Did locate the System Planning forms for both versions for hand packing though. Are the PartnerIIs friendly enough to display the data while strolling through the database or do they just ask you to enter data without displaying existing info? Any heads up on this transition?

No way to migrate without programming from scratch. You can step through all the programming codes and see the current setting without changing anything. Remember to look at personal speed dials and auto line select for each extension (for als you need to go to the phone or plug one in at the control unit and see what the als is set to). It's a good time to fine tune the system and clean up a lot of junk.

Hi rainnman,
Yup, just run the old system beside you as you program the new one so you can check on the old settings. There are a ton of new features, so the old program isn't want you want anyway, it's just a guide.
