Hi Guru's:

I just migrated from 6i to 10g.
My function keys are not working everywhere (it does work in some places).
Do I need to do anything special with the forms after migration?

You should migrate, not only recompile :) I suppose that your new terminal file differs a lot from an old one. BTW did you "migrate" from client/server to web or from web to web? 6i supported both types of deployment.

Regards, Dima

Migrated from client/server to web.
I took all the C/S .fmb files and compiled it on the new application server.
What do you mean by NEW TERMINAL FILE?
As per documentation, I just copied the fmrpcweb.res file fmrweb.res

Let me explain my problem a little bit more detail:
I am working with two forms: prov.fmb and hv.fmb
prov.fmb :
When I select "PROV" from the main menu and do "ctrl+shift+F3",
I get the "Provider Information" screen and cursor is on a item "Provider ID".
If I enter "1" for the field "Provider ID" and then press "F8" or
"ctrl+shift+F8" then the whole form gets populated by the Provider information.
hv.fmb:
When I select "HV" from the main menu and do "ctrl+shift+F3",
I get the "Home Visit - Risk Response" screen and cursor is on a item
"Child ID".
If I enter "2593" for the field "Child ID" and then press "F8" or
"ctrl+shift+F8" then the field "Child ID" just gets highlighted and the form
remains empty.

OK, could you explain the same in Forms triggers terms? As you (author) might map that combinations to user defined triggers and God only knows what stands behind this behaviour.

Do you mean that your KEY-EXEQRY works in some situations and fails in others? Do you get any error messages? Warnings (such as "Query caused no records to be retrieved. Re-enter.") If not, are messages suppressed in code?

Regards, Dima

Actually, the problem was in the user-defined-trigger. Went through the debugger, spotted the problem and everything is good to go. Thanks for your willingness to help.
