Hi All,

I have developed my mappings using Inforamtica ver 5.1.
These are all on my laptop, using local personal Oracle database, the respository being created locally off course.
(my mappings are laoding data from flat files to Oracle tables)

Now, I need to take all of my work to a desktop with Informatica ver 6.2. Repository over there, is on some XYZ server with it's necessary access to me.

Whar are all steps I have to follow to achieve this.

Thanks.

Hi,

Go to the Help file.
In the 'Supplemental Guide', go to 'Chapter 9 : Upgrading a Repository'.
Follow the steps given in it.
As you have the Informatica 5.1 mapping, so the repository version will be 102.
So, you dont need to recover the files from the backup.
You can follow the steps given the chapter and I hope that you will be able to upgrade your repository.

Thanks,
Sandhu
