One of the commercial off the shelf applications that we use here at SBC will be moving to Oracle 8. Everything else we use runs off of Oracle 7.3.4. Can anyone give me some of their horror stories from converting to 8.1?
We did have a rogue unit that went to 8i, and we found that there seemed to be problems setting up SQL Net connections for those people that needed to connect to both 7 & 8. We finally forced them to downgrade.
Anyone?
