I've been assigned a project to migrate our existing agent desktop application (in house product) to Appect Lyricall. I've had only a mimimal 'view' of Lyricall in UIP Overview class I attended last week but have had real training on Lyricall.

thanks to anyone that can give me a starting point.

We have been using LYRICall for three years now and there are good "Aspects" of it and some not so good. I would suggest the best way to get started is to browse to like I did in the beginning and use your Aspect customer number to request a support login. Then you can access their documents (must have!), knowledge base, and even open a case with support. Another good idea would be to request login to their user group,
You need to read their document for LYRICall Designer, which is the app we used to create our custom agent desktop in the past. ASPECT has some other new ways to create agent desktops which we use now, but you mentioned LYRICall specifically. We had some challenges with the workstation requirements for LYRICall which are in our opinion too loosely stated. You must have Java installed on the agent PC, Microsoft Internet Explorer (no other browser supported), and at least 2 GB RAM on the workstation. The specs say 512 MB RAM, but that is too little from our experience.

There is a 'default' LYRICall configuration that actually works well out of the box, but may not be enough for some centers. It's pretty easy to customize now v6.6. The old version was a bit of a chore v6.5.

Do you know what version you are getting?
