Migrating to another w2003 server

Hello All,

We have arcserve 11.1 currently running in a win 2003 server. We would like to migrate arcserve to another win 2003 server. aside from installing the software again, do I have to restore the database folders that gets backed up for arcserve so we can see all the media pools , job records etc. Please help. What is the procedure of reinstalling it to another box including current database etc.

Hi,

Please reinstall ARCserve on the new server.
Copy database folder from the original ARCserve server and copy it over to the new server
under <drive>\Program Files\Ca\BrightStor ARcserve backup\
