Hello all,

I am new to DTS and I'm using this to migrate a database from Sybase ASE to SQL server 2000. Basically I have created a Sybase ODBC source and am using this as the 'source' while defining the DTS package. My problem is that the source database (Sybase) has special characters like like ü,â,à,ç,ó etc in certain table columns and these are not preserved while migrating to MSSQL server. Please let me know if there is a way to resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance

What is the datatype of the destination column? You will probably need to set the datatype to nchar or nvarchar. Good luck!
