migrating Sidekick onto Windows XP Pro x64

Hello all,
I am about to build a new computer with an AMD 64 bit processor. I gather that SKW works under Windows XP but does anyone know if it works under Windows XP Pro x64 Edition?

Hello Jim and All,

I am sorry to say I chickened out and ordered the Media Center version. I was a little afraid that there were fewer drivers available for x64 Edition and recognised that my computer usage was not such as to benefit from the x64 version. So I will not be able to give you any more info on this score.

Are you an Air Force man? "Climb to 2 feet and level off" always amused me!

Dear Ian,

Nothing could be further from the truth, I belonged to the ATC (Air Training Corp) in my school days and went flying and Gliding (I particularly liked the gliding) and hiking and shooting(definitely not my favourite) and all those other things that children enjoy....

I trained as a Marine Engineer, went to sea for a brief time as a Fireman Water Tender and most of the rest of my life has been spent fixing smaller and smaller things...
That describes the jobs, but the really important bits were the leisure(?) time activities, I just like learning new things and enjoying life generally, especially my children and children's children and their children too, if I am given half a chance!

Rather enjoyed your quote though.
