We have been migrating users to a new 6.5 postoffice and have been doing this successfully for a couple of weeks, however, a remote user accesses his Groupwise remotely via this new server and can get email and attachments no problem but when a user tries to open a Word file saved directly into groupwise gets error "8503: The Post Office Agent is not running or cannot be found at the specified IP address and IP port." We have a static translation mapping setup on our firewall for the old and the new server and also have matching rules there allowing ports 1677, 1679, imap4, pop3, 8300. There are no deny messages in the firewall leading to rule access issues. The word file is in the library on the old server. Has anyone run into this situation before?
Thanks in advance.
