Migrating old reports to CCCv5 Reporting

Is there a way to migrate old custom reports to CCCv5. The CCCv5 reports directory have a .htm and .xml files making up 1 report. The old version is just a .rep file. Do I have to convert using crystal or am I over-thinking this?

They have to be re-written using Crystal Reports.

We had custom reports built in BO, and tried to convert but as I am sure you are aware the reporting concept is very different to BO.
