I'm looking at migrating about 5 Server edition and 500v2 systems (currently SCN) into one cloud Powered By IPO instance (all will be R11).

The fastest way I know of to do this is to move the vm pro from the main SE system over to the cloud (or just move the menus depending on if I want to keep people's current boxes or not), and then export users (thousands of them) to .csv and import into the new system.

Would be great if there was some way to import the entire solution database into the single cloud instance (essentially SE instance) but I'm thinking there isn't a way to do that. Of course, I'd mostly want users since some of the shortcodes, lines, etc are different.

Anyway, if anyone knows of a faster way to this than .csv let me know!

Export the users as binaries

Save your SE configuration to a local folder. Now you have configurations for the SE and each Expansion. Open each config, and delete any users you DON'T want to import into the Cloud Instance. Export as BINARY (not .csv). Import the binaries into the Cloud Hosted and you should be good.

Sounds straightforward -- I'll try it out when the time comes. Thanks!
