I have an application using MTS and ASP.

System:

Windows NT service pack 6
MTS
SQL Server 2000

The time for a call in a determinated function is 7 seconds.I migrate the application to COM+ and the call to the same function the time is 28 seconds.

System for Com+:
Windows 2000 Server
COM+
SQl Server 2000

Why?
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

We are also experiencing the same problem when migrating
from mts to com+.

Our code manipulates a dom tree using msxml using
results from an sql query.

When our VB6 com object is eecuted within the Com+
environment it is over 100 times slower.

It seems that some kind of method call interception
is slowing down the code.

Have you managed to get any improvment in speed yet?

Im sorry to ask a different question on this thread!!!
But I have a COM+ application. Im able to deploy it on another windows 2000 machine and it works fine.
However when I deploy it on a windows NT web server, it does install the COM+ app. However the component doesnt work (the method calls from ASP dont activate the component on the win2000 server)

I have windows installer installed and running on the win NT client.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
