we have an application running on tomcat 4, we need to migrate to WAS, we have installed websphere studio. Could anyone direct us to some resources for step by step migration from tomcat to websphere.

Thanks in advance,
Ridash

for simple web page, it is easy to deploy it on websphere. But for creating JNDI for MySQL in websphere 6.0, you would need some help.
I would recommend you to download a free book in pdf from IBM website.(Migrating Applications from WebLogic, JBoss and Tomcat to WebSphere V6). Other books in are also good.

It also takes some time for me to be familiar with the interface of Websphere Application Server Developer(WSAD) Studio. If you know eclipse, you have advantage in learning the studio.
