I will be Migrating from Groupwise 5.5 to Exchange 2000. I have a migration doc that has an overview of the process. Is there a better document available? I'm concerned about SP level needed for GW and if the migration wizard moves the mailboxes or copies them. I'd like to be able to copy them in case something goes wrong.

The migration wizard copies them.

Also, you can (must, I think) use the GW Connector for Exchange, which runs messages through the API gateway. This also allows for both GW and Exchange to coexist. However, I found that the "from" addresses got munged for Exchange uses if they went through GWIA first. Best to let Exchange handle the internet gateway service and pass them to GW users.

Other than that, it worked fine for me and allowed me to do it group-by-group over a bit of time to ensure that everyone was working OK before going on to the next group.

mufka - is the document for migrating emailable?

I have a job coming up to migrade GroupWise 4 to Exchange 2000. Could do with all the help I can get.

Cheers
