I imported all objects from CE10 to Cystal Reports Server XI after creating CMS database. I imported all objects etc. The id's changed. I asked Business Objects support and they said that new id's get generated. I find it hard to believe since I will have to put in the new id's in all my url links. Did any of you guys face the same issue?

Thanks!

Makes sense as the IDs are system generated, and appear to be similar to GUIDS.

But it doesn't make sense that with every nre version, we will have to change URL's for 100 reports. Are you in favour of the Open Document method?

I understand your dilema, however I rarely create URLs for each link, opting to use CE or the API.

Might make sense to pursue dynamically creating links if that's your preference.

Sorry, I don't have a good solution for you.

So how do you do it in CE? Do you use Infoview for the users? I am open to alternative solutions. The way it was done here was URL.
