Migrating from AIX Version 3.2 to 4.3.2

I lost my data volume group which was on hdisk2 during the migration. How can I recover it with out recrating it and useing the backup.

The safest response has *got* to be recreate and restore - is that not possible? Is this a production machine?<br>

have you tried importvg?<br>

Easy: create your mksysb tape, boot from CD and do a preservation installation and enjoy.
