Migrating from access to msde

Hi

We have a very small client who were on XPs and then upgraded to PS4 standard with 2 citrix boxes. They were set up using access as the data store and even when upgraded didn't go to msde. They have a spare w2k3 server and I really want to get them migrated to msde. I have a couple of other clients who have small farms but were installed with msde on a non-citrix server from the start and they work fine. Can we migrate from access to msde but not have the msde on either citrix box?

This article should help you. Yes it is possible to have your MSDE database on server other than your Citrix server.

I am already using that article for new installs for small clients using msde, wanted to know if I can migrate my existing access data store on an existing citrix server to a non-citrix server running msde
