Hi
We are migrating a Sage line 500 system from SQL server 2000 to 2005. There are a number Of SQL stored procedures that are being called by DTS packages residing on our 2000 system. Do any of these need to be updated changed in any way to allow them to work in the 2005 system as they did under the 2000 system.

There is an additional set of tools you need to work with DTS packages - see this post and look for the bit about Legacy Components.

Your stored procs should work, but a thorough review of your code will be needed to make sure it is all going to work.

Good LUck,

Alex

I always recommend that you migrate a dev system first so that you can do a full regression test before migrating your production system. Check some of the threads over in forum962 for more info.
