A gentleman called Clyde (CFA) posted someting about this subject. I would like to ask him if the latest versions of Clipper for Windows has a conversion utility as in FoxPro.

Thanks [sig][/sig]

There is no Clipper for Windows, nor a Foxpro conversion.

We used a product called XBase++ by Alaska Software. This is a new Compiler/Linker, 2-3 years in development.

It worked well for us, with minor changes we were running text based 32 bit programs. This was a matter of a couple of months time.

The majority of Clipper code compiled and linked out of the box.

Phase two took us from text to GUI. A longer more ardous process, but one recently completed.

I would recommend it.

I think they have a demo on their web site,

Thanks for the input but...
Au contraire.... There is a Foxpro conversion....
I migrated a DOS Foxpro client server application to Windows GUI 1n 1994-95, using Foxpro's conversion utility that was part of Microsoft FoxproW for Windows, a year after Microsoft acquired FoxPro.

I was hoping to find the same for Clipper.

There is/was also a product called Clip4Win.
Though I do know if it actually migrates. [sig][/sig]
