Does anyone have experience in migrating the Groups/Policies/Rules/Hosts from one CSA MC 4.5.1 server to another CSA MC 4.5.1 server on a different network. I'm working with a client that has a System Integration (SI) environment which they conduct testing and directly mirrors the Production environment. Once testing is completed, then they will want to migrate the data from the SI environment to the Production environment.

Granted a simple move of the CSA MC and SQL database servers to Production would be best, however, the political environment at client site prevents that as they want the SI and Production to mirror each other at all times for DR purposes.

I've looked into the prepare_migration.exe script, but that's mainly for upgrading from one version to the next. I'm looking to do a lateral move of data onto exact duplicate setups, just on different networks.

Thanks in advance,

Hmm, maybe i don't get it. But if you wan't SI and prod to be the same at all times, you would need to setup a backend sql and then just connect the SI and prod vms server to that, otherwise they will be the same for about 10 minutes untill some change is made or some dynamic ip/dynamic file event is triggered and the db will change.
