stupid question but on hacmp env, I need to move some lv to new disks.
I have added the new disk to ha using cspoc. all good.
I suppose now i just need to use standard command migratepv -l to move the raw lv to the specific disks ?
I think you can try with cl_mklvcopy and after successfull cl_rmlvcopy from old disk. (I think it will work even if the LVCB is overwritten in your raw vlume (LV).)
Thanks but I don;t have a test machine and it is real production.
I suppose migratepv should do it as it doesn't say anywhere we can;t use it.
the disks are configured HA...
Cheers
Al
I check again the man migratepv and see
"For concurrent mode volume groups migratepv can only be used while active in enhanced concurrent mode"
so I suppose it will work
I have a enhance concurrent VG (HA) with raw lv.
Too bad IBM can;t say HACMP support migratepv on bla bla bla...
